68 Indian textile companies participate at Yarn Expo & InterTextile Fairs 2016 in Shanghai

A delegation of 68 Yarn and Textile companies from India participated at the Yarn Expo & InterTextile 2016 in Shanghai under the umbrella of the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL).  Consul General visited the Indian Pavilion on 13 October and interacted with Indian participants at Inter Textile 2016.  Mr. Siddhartha Rajagopal, Executive Director, TEXPROCIL informed Consul General about the increasing export potential of yarn from India to China and the tariff related constraints faced by Indian exporters.  Consul General assured them of taking up their concerns through appropriate channels and welcomed their participation at the next InterTextile Exhibition scheduled in March 2017.
