India Participated in the prestigious Food & Hospitality Industry Fair - 14th FHC China 2010 in Shanghai from 10-13 November 2010. APEDA was overall coordinator of India’s participation & put up an ‘India pavilion’ at the Fair.APEDA participated for the third time in FHC, China since 2005.

42 sq. mtrs.  India Pavilion had display of food products  from reputed companies from all over India including M/s.Gits Products Pvt. Ltd., Pune; M/s.Haldiram Foods, Mumbai; M/s. Naturo Foods & Fruit Products Pvt. Ltd., A.P; M/s.Aricha Trading Co., Kolkata; M/s.Dharamveer Exports, New Delhi; M/s.Allana Sons, Mumbai ; M/s.Galla Foods, Chennai; United Breweries, Bengaluru; M/s Dunar Foods Limited, Karnal etc.

The India Pavilion also provided food tasting opportunity for the visitors. Basmati rice, curries, fruit juice and snacks received very enthusiastic response from them.  

Informative Brochures in Chinese on Basmati rice and that of APEDA and participating companies were kept for free distribution.
