Consulate organised an investment promotion seminar focusing on opportunities in infrastructure sector in India in collaboration with the Jiangsu Provincial branch of China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on 6th June at Xuzhou, Jiangsu. The seminar was organized in conjunction with the 5th annual Jiangsu Provincial Enterprises Outbound investment conference. Consul General was also a special guest of honor at the Jiangsu Enterprises outbound investment seminar. Representatives from CCPIT, China (Vice-President Wang Jinzhen) and Xuzhou Municipal Government (Executive Vice-Mayor Zou Xuwen) participated in the seminar. Presentations were also made by representatives of Jiangsu Department of Commerce. The seminar attracted participation of a large number of companies from i from a cross-section of industry including manufacturing, construction equipment and renewable energy. In addition to presentations on investment opportunities in India; two companies one Indian (Mahendra Yueda Tractors) and one Chinese (YAPP) shared their experience of operating in China and India respectively.
