Consul General called on H.E. Mr. Lu Xiao Dong, Governor of Jing’an District on June 7, to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming celebration of the 2nd International Day of Yoga (IDY) at the prestigious Jing’an Park in Shanghai.  During the meeting Consul General thanked Governor of Jing’an District for all their support and assistance to the Consulate in organizing Indian cultural activities in the last few years at prominent venues at Jing’an District.

It may be noted that Jing’an became one of the largest districts in Shanghai Municipality after Zhabei District was merged into Jing’an District late last year, which expanded the resources of Jing’an District considerably.  Governor of Jing’an District also confirmed his participation at the upcoming celebration of the 2nd IDY in Jing’an Park on 21st June.
